生于1924年1月，1948年8月参加革命，1950年参加朝鲜战争，任中国人民志愿军第27军79师336团一连战士。 1950年11月在朝鲜柳临战斗中牺牲。中国人民志愿军政治部于1951年10月25日烈字第59号确定为革命烈士。
