鸳鸯纹是汉族传统寓意纹样。

简介

驾鸯，鸟名。体小于鸭。雄（鸳）羽色绚丽；雌（鸯）略小，背苍褐色。雌雄偶居不离，故以之比喻夫妇。

出处

《诗·小雅·鸳鸯》：“鸳鸯于飞，毕之罗之”《传》“驾鸯，匹鸟。”
