薛起蛟，字牟山、炎州、焗万，人称小薛，顺德人。明朝诸生，中明经科。明朝灭亡后，他拒绝了仕途，终身致力于学问，直至九十八岁去世。

主要贡献

著有《木末山房稿》。其人活动于明末清初，《三编清代稿钞本》收录有其诗作12首。
